Other ideas

Now that you have finished your letter you can send your partner a photo of yourself or you can draw your self-portrait and send it along with your letter, as an attachment. You can use either a scanner (to scan your photo or your drawing), a video camera or a digital camera, depending on the equipment available in your school.

Using a video camera, a digital video camera you can produce a  video of your class where you and your friends will shortly introduce yourselves just by saying your names, ages and a word that describes your personalities. (My name is... .I am .... years old. I think I am ....). This video can be sent by your teacher with the letters or published in the school website, or sent via snail mail.

You can also organise videoconference to introduce yourselves directly in real time if  the involved schools have this possibility.

Hint 1

When you have finished writing your letter, put it away for a while and read it later as if it was addressed to you. Does it still make sense?
